The song “Hometown Glory” is performed by British singer Adele that was released under the label of Pacemaker Recordings and XL Recordings on October 22, 2007 in the U.K. This is the first track from his debut album “19″. In the event, her mother insisted her to, leave home town of “West Norwood”, the she wrote the song in 10 minutes.

At first, the song was failed on the charts but after the high downloads of the song after the release of album(19), the song become the part of the UK Singles Chart as top 40. She also received Grammy nomination for the song, but Beyonce got the award for her single “Halo”.

The song had also features in a drama series “Skins” on April 7, 2008 and because of that reason the song spotted at number 32 on the Uk Singles Chart. It was also features on Season 4 of “So You Think You Can Dance”, season 2 of “Secret Diary of A Call Girl” and many other reality show like Britain’s Got Talent, The X Factor(UK), The X Factor(Australia) and Australia Got Talent. It was also used for promotion and advertisement of soap “Coronation Street”.
