This song is performed by American singer and songwriter Beyonce Knowles. It was produced by Kuk Harrell, Brent Kutzle and Ryan Tedder, and written by Diane Wrren. The song was motivated by the 11 September attackes in the US. It was included on the soundtrack of FIFA Women’s World Cup final in 2011.

The music video of the song was released on 18 August, 2012 and the artists performed in the video are The-Dream, Diane Warren and Julia Stiles. The song received mixed reviews from the critics. Georgette Cline commented that “even though the lyrics are somewhat on the morbid aspect , it really works in Knowles’ favour , showing she could take on all types of topics”. Matthew Perpetua of “Rolling Stone” commented that “cuts off the stream of up-tempo tunes on the 2nd half”. Gary Graff commented that “I wish to keep my footprints on the sands of time” in the track described the entire album”.

The song was debuted on the South Korea International Singles chart at number 44 after selling 14,173 copies. In the short time, the song was on the UK Singles chart at number 131 and at number 74 on the Swiss Singles chart.
