“That’s Why I Pray” is performed by American country duo Big & Rich and taken from their fourth studio album “Hillbilly Jedi”. It was released on 21 May, 2012 by Warner Bros. Records. It was produced by Dann Huff, and written by Sarah Buxton, Blair Daly and Danelle Leverett. The music video was released on 22 May, 2012 and directed by Kristin Barlowe.
Roughstock’s Matt Bjorke called the song “That’s Why I Pray” “well-crafted”. Jessica Nicholson of “Country Weekly” commented that “both artists have made a well-crafted and sober tune”.
“That’s Why I Pray” ranked at number 16 on the US Billboard Hot Country Sons chart and at number 82 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
