“Over” is performed by American country singer Blake Shelton and taken from his 6th studio album “Red River Blue”. It was released on 21 May, 2012 by Warner Bros. as the fourth single from his album. It was produced by Scott Hendricks, and written by David Elliott Johnson and Paul Jenkins. The official music video was released on 15 June, 2012 and directed by Roman White.
Ashley Cooke from “Roughstock” said about “Over” that “it doesn’t fit on his personality”. Kevin John Coyne said that “I feel that the song looks like to a 19′s lukewarm rock ballad” and gave a D grade. Billy Dukes of “Taste of Country” commented that “amazing recording of a simple song”.
“Over” peaked at number 1 on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, at number 42 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and at number 59 on the Canadian Hot 100 chart.
