“Not Afraid” is performed by American recording artist Eminem and taken from his 7th studio album “Recovery”. It was released on 29 April, 2010 by Interscope Records, Aftermath Records and Shady Records. It was produced by Burnett, Jordan Evans, Eminem and Boi-1da, and written by Jordan Evans, Burnett, Eminem, Luis Resto and Matthew Samuels. The official music video was released on 5 June, 2012 and directed by Rich Lee. It was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand (RIANZ) and the Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana (FIMI).
Eminem’s “Not Afraid” won Detroit Music Awards for “Outstanding Video” and “Outstanding National Single”, MTV Video Music Awards for “Best Hip Hop Video”, 53rd Grammy Awards for “Best Rap Solo Performance, MTV Video Music Awards (2010) for “Best Male Video” and “Best Hip-Hop Video”. It also got eight nominations in various categories.
“Not Afraid” ranked at number 8 on the Billboard Rap Songs, at number 15 on the Billboard pop Songs, at number 70 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, at number 5 on the UK Singles Chart, at number 22 on the Japan Hot 100, at number 14 on the Dutch Top 40 Chart, at number 8 on the European Hot 100 Singles Chart and at number 1 on the Canadian Hot 100.
