The song “Take a Little Ride” is taken from Jason Aldean’s fifth Studio album “Night Train”. It was released on 16 July, 2012 through Broke Bow Records. It was produced by Michael Knox, and written by Rodney Clawson, Dylan Altman and Jim McCormick. The song is about the happenings of a man who picked up his girlfriend for a night drive. The music video was released on 10 August, 2012 that was directed by Shaun Silva.
The song peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Country Songs chart, at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at number 22 on the Canadian Hot 100. The song was certified gold by the United States(RIAA).
