Song Review
“Put You in a Song” is taken from American country singer Keith Urban’s sixth studio album “Get Closer”. It was released on 13 September, 2012 by Capitol Nashville as the lead single from his album. It was co-produced by Keith Urband and Dann Huff, and co-written by Keith Urban, Sarah Buxton and Jedd Hughes.
Leeann Ward of “Country Universe” noted that “Put You in a Song is betting for the forthcoming album”. Matt Bjorke of “Roughstock” commented that “an extended good quality song which will surely peaked up the country music radio charts”.
“Put You in a Song” peaked at number 2 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart, at number 53 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and at number 49 on the Canadian Hot 100 Chart.
