The song “Ice” is taken from Kelly Rowland’s fourth studio album “Year of the Woman”. The song features the vocals of American rapper Lil Wayne. It was released on 24 August, 2012 through Universal Republic. It was produced by Noel Fisher and Sean Garrett, and written by Lil Wayne, Kelly, Noel and Sean Garrett.
The song received positive reviews from the critics. Erika Ramirez commented that “Slow song from the two good artists and again raising the enjoyment”. Robbie Daw commented that “this latest song may trump the pair’s earlier partnership in the song S*xy Department”.
The song debuted at number 100 on the Billboard Hot 100, at number 55 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and at number 72 on the Gaon International Singles Chart. It failed to appear on other Music charts.
