“Government Hooker” is performed by American pop star Lady Gaga and taken from her second studio album “Born This Way”. It was released on 23 May, 2011 by Kon Live Records, Streamline and Interscope Records. It was co-produced and co-written by Lady Gaga, DJ White Shadow and Fernando Garibay.
Roberts commented about “Government Hooker” that “the song is just an exception to the nature of the album”. Sal Cinquemani from “Slant Magazine” said “fabulous and filthy chorus”. Kerri Mason said that “the song has vocalizing like opera with techno bleeps”.
“Government Hooker” ranked on the US Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Digital Songs Chart and at number 14 on the South Korean Gaon International Singles Chart.
