“Daylight” is recorded by American music band Maroon 5, and taken from their fourth studio album “Overexposed”. It was released on 27 November, 2010 by A&M/Octone Records as the third single from the album. It was produced by Max Martin, MdL and Adam Levine, and written by Masson Levy, Sam Martin, Max Martin and Adam Levine. The official music video premiered on 10 December, 2012, and was directed by Jonas Akerlund.
Cameron Adams wrote about “Daylight” that “it looks like that Max Martin is trying to produce a rock song like ‘Coldplay (British Rock Band)’”. Chris Payne from “Billboard” wrote that “a sweet story in the song with up-tempo beat, when you listen closely you would disappear from your mind”. Mesfin Fekadu noted that “a bad copy of ‘Coldplay’ Cover”.
