“Misery” is recorded by American music group Maroon 5 and taken from their third studio album “Hands All Over”. It was released on 22 June, 2010 by Octone Records and A&M Records as the first single from the album. It was produced by Robert John “Mutt” Lange, and written by Sam Farrar, Jesse Carmichael and Adam Levine. The official music video was released on 1 July, 2010 and directed by Joseph Kahn. It was nominated at the 53rd Grammy Awards for “Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal”.

“Misery” peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs, at number 8 on the Billboard Pop Songs, at number 9 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary, at number 1 on the Billboard Adult pop Songs and at number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100.

“Misery” also peaked at number 20 on the Spanish Airplay Chart, at number 30 on the UK Singles Chart, at number 10 on the Dutch Top 40 Chart, at number 38 on the RIANZ Singles Chart, at number 4 on the Japan Hot 100, at number 4 on the Hungarian Rádiós Top 40 Chart, at number 13 on the Canadian Hot 100 and at number 39 on the ARIA Singles Chart.
