“Butterflies” is performed by American pop singer Michael Jackson and taken from his 10th studio album “Invincible”. It was released on 8 February, 2002 by Epic Records as the final single from the album. It was co-produced by Michael Jackson and Andre Harris, written by Marsha Ambrousius and Andre Harris.
Ken Barnes from “USA Today” said about “Butterflies” that “hopelessly sappy ballad oozing along with fluffy emotions. I would state it can a lot more like caterpillars”. Christie Leo from the “New Straits Times” wrote that “an original track just like title”. Mark Anthony from “Popmatters” wrote that “Exhibits importance regarding Jackson’s profession has been doing the particular boy’s uncanny capacity to performed and outside the box”.
“Butterflies” peaked at number 36 on the US Billboard Top 40 Mainstream Tracks Chart, at number 2 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart and at number 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
