“You Rock My World” is performed by American performer Michael Jackson and taken from his 10th studio album “Invincible”. It was released on 22 August, 2001 by Epic Records as the album’s lead single. It was co-produced by Michael Jackson and Darkchild, and co-written by Michael Jackson, Nora Payne, LaShawn Daniels, Fred Jerkins III and Rodney Jerkins. The music video premiered in 2001, and was directed by Paul Hunter.

Andrew Hamilton from “Allmusic” said that “If any artist other than Michael Jackson has released the song with a lot of promotion, then it would have topped on the charts with many awards. The song sold and play well, but i don’t know whey critics are so panned with his song”. James Hunger from “Rolling Stone” commented that “the song seems like song from Quincy Jones”.

“You Rock My World” ranked at number 13 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, at number 2 on the UK Singles Chart, at number 5 on the Swiss Singles Chart, at number 1 on the Romanian Top 100 Chart, at number 2 on the Norwegian Singles Chart, at number 3 on the Italian Singles Chart, at number 2 on the Canadian Hot 100 and at number 4 on the ARIA Singles Chart.
