It was released on 10 July, 2012 by Motown Records as the lead single from the album. It was produced by Reeva & Black and StarGate, and co-written by Ne-Yo, Mike Di Scala, Tor E. Hermansen, Mark Hadfield and Sia Furler. The music video was released on 18 July, 2012 and directed by Christopher Simms. It was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand (RIANZ) and platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
