The song(Talk That Talk) is performed by R&B and Hip Hop singer Rihanna, taker from her 6th album “Talk That Talk”. In this song, she features American rapper “Jay-Z” like her other song “Umbrella” and “Run This Town”. The song was released on 17 January 2012 under the label of “Def Jam Records”. It was produced by StarGate, and written by Tor Erik, Ester Dean, Shawn Carter, Chucky Thompson and many more.
The song received positive reviews from the critics. Steve M. of “Sputnikmusic” commented that “the track is a option that may take control of the airplay although as well stating that “Jay-Z’s responsibilities on visitor vocals definitely won’t damage the song’s result.” She also performed the song live on “The Jonathan Ross Show” and “Saturday Night Live”.
After sales of 73,000 digital downloads, it was debuted at number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100. Later, the song charted at number 69 on the US R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, at number 26 on the US Pop Songs and at number 30 on the Canadian Hot 100 chart.
