“Whiplash” is taken from American music group Selena Gomez & the Scene’s 3rd studio album “When the Sun Goes Down”. It was released in 2011 by Hollywood Records. It was produced by Greg Kurstin, and written by Britney Spears, Nicole Morier and Greg Kirstin.
Jarett Wieselman from the “New York Post” said that “the song is much better than at-least five single from Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale album and I can’t understand why Britney give up this song to others”. Scott Sehlter from “PopCrush” said “because of song’s hook people would run to the dance floor, but Selena Gomez’s vocals are pretty and flat”.
