“Change” is recorded by American recording artist Taylor Swift and taken from her second studio album “Fearless”. It was released on 8 August, 2008 by Big Machine Records, produced by Taylor Swift and Nathan Chapman, and written by Taylor Swift. The official music video was released in 2008 and directed by Shawn Robbins. It was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) after sales of 500,000 copies in the United States.
Critical acclaim was mixed from music critics. Jonathan Keefe from Slant Magazine said that “unimpressive vocals from her and her voice was broken and cracked, that’s why it isn’t an anthem”. Jody Rose of “Rolling Stone” said that “the songs are looking unique, but because of quality it isn’t an anthem and may be the song would appeal some audience”.
“Change” ranked at number 21 on the US Billboard Pop Songs Chart, at number 57 on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart and at number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
