The song “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” is performed by American pop and country singer “Taylor Swift”, taken from her 4th studio album “Red”. It was released on 13 August, 2012 by Big Machine Records. It was produced and co-written by Shellback and Max Martin. She has performed the song at the MTV Video Music Awards 2012, Staples Center and The X Factor(UK). The music video was released on 30 August, 2012 that was directed by Declan Whitebloom.

The song earned generally positive reviews from the critics. Robert Myers of “The Village Voice” commented that “I wonder the song is also becoming the best track on Red album ; it’s a teaser , a sign to her followers of what’s rising . That seems like business calculation of the toughest type , however I don’t believe it is . Her attachment to her listeners is often more valuable than her link to her boyfriends”.

The song debuted at number 13 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs, at number 72 on the Billboard Hot 100, at number 16 on the Adult Contemporary chart, at number 18 on the Billboard Pop Songs, at number 2 on the Canadian Hot 100 and at number 5 on the UK Singles chart.
