It was released on 15 March, 2012 by Republic Nashville Records as the fifth single from their album. It was produced by Nathan Chapman, and written by Reid Perry, Neil Perry, Kimberly Perry, Kara DioGuardi and Jeff Cohen. The official music video was released on 1 June, 2012 and directed by David McClister.
Billy Dukes from “Taste of Country” said about the song “Postcard from Paris” that “an amazing song that finds a way to express love”. It ranked at number 6 on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and at number 60 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
