The song “Glad You Came” is taken from The Wanted’ second studio album “Battleground”. It was released on July 10, 2011 by Global Talent and Island Records as the second single from the album. It was produced and written by Wayne Henctor, Steve Mace, Ed Drewett and Christopher Hines. The music video was released on June 10, 2011 and was directed by Director X.

“Trash Lounge” noted that “the lyrics might not express creativity , however it carries sufficient charm and summer-friendly making to notice it through”. “Unreality Shout” wrote that “showcases none of the earlier heard pop brilliance and rather we’ve started offered one more boring , indigestible part of boy-band pop that’s become drenched in terribly saccharine niceness on the lyrical face”.
