“Glass” is performed by American country duo Thompson Square and taken from their debut album “Thompson Square”. It was released on 30 January, 2012 by Stoney Creek Records as the fourth single from their album. It was produced by New Voice Entertainment, and written by Jon Nite and Ross Copperman. The first music video was released in February 2012 and directed by Roman White. Second video was released in April 2012 and directed by Wes Edwards.
Billy Dukes from “Taste of Country” commented about “Glass” that “the lyrics are simply just preferable to typical, however from Mrs. Thompson’s lip area they hover via the air flow similar to a depressed snowflake, asking for protection and attention which is too handy to give”.
“Glass” ranked at number 15 on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and at number 84 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
