The song “Round of Applause” is taken from Waka Flocka Flame’s second studio album “Triple F Life: Fans, Friends & Family”. It was released on 14 October, 2011 by Warner Bros., 1017 Brick Squad and Asylum as the lead single from his album. It was produced by Lex Luger, and was written by Aurbrey Graham, Juaquin Malphurs and Lexus Lewis. The song also features fellow Canadian rapper Drake. The music video was premiered on 25 February, 2011 and was directed by Mr. Boomtown.
“Round of Applause” peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Rap Songs chart, at number 15 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and at number 86 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
